Meila is a locally owned and operated ready-mix concrete plant at 79-89 Grant Road, Frankton, Queenstown. We batch and deliver concrete throughout the Queenstown Lakes and Wakatipu area — for builders, contractors, developers, engineers and homeowners.

What we batch
Foundations and slabs up to 25 MPa.
We supply foundation and slab concrete up to 25 MPa, to the project and engineering requirements. Hardscaping and other non-structural work can be any strength — we assess the mix against the required strength and spec. Structural or engineered work above 25 MPa goes through our plant engineer.
Under NZS 3604, most residential slab work sits in 17.5–25 MPa by exposure zone. Driveways are commonly 20 MPa or stronger (CCANZ IB 80). Not sure? Tell us the job.

Quality
Who looks after the concrete.
Production is overseen by our plant engineer and plant manager. They prepare our mix designs, give technical direction to the plant, and review batching records, quality documentation and test results on an ongoing basis. Samples are taken regularly for testing.
